Some thoughts...
3 months have gone by...
I was plain lazy in not updating my blog. No excuses. Just slacking around these few months. Doing nothing. Accomplishing nothing. Day by day, it passes; without me realising.
I would say lots of things have happened. Some things have changed. But, life goes on.
I'm generally not a negative person. I'm a realist. I do not see half a glass of water as half full or half empty. I see it as it is.
I don't know why I decided to blog again today. I just felt like it. I feel that I may have let my friends down sometimes.
This afternoon, while I was waiting for someone outside vivocity's outdoor fountains, I was looking at the kids and thinking to myself: How nice it would be to stay young, naive, innocent, carefree and when life just revolves around simple happiness.
Someone close to me ended her relationship today. I am seriously worried for her.
Sometimes I really wish I had not known and seen some things. It makes me question myself whether my judgement is accurate or not. How some things may seem to appear like they are, yet the reality might be nowhere near. When you think that someone really cares but it's just not the case. There're times when I seriously think that people are concerned about me, only to find out otherwise. I wouldn't go into details. Let's just say I'm disappointed. People nowadays don't seem to care much about trust and respect. I think I need to grow up and learn to live in the real world.
Recently, friends around me have been saying the same things to me, feeling the same emotions and thinking the same thoughts. I have been neglecting my friends and I'm ashamed to say that. Maybe then, things might have been different for some.
I think I've been thinking too much. Caring too much about stupid and minor stuff that I'm not seeing the whole picture. I'm letting my emotions rule me. Where has my logical and analytical self gone?
I found out something which made me upset one month ago. I told myself it's nothing serious and to let it go. I did. It came back and I let it go again. After this, I don't think there would be anything else that would make me upset again. I guess it's situations like this that makes a person emotionally stronger. Like I said earlier, I'd really like to grow up.
I don't understand why is it so difficult to express oneself at times.
Why can't people tell you things straight in the face instead of beating about the bush or pushing things onto you? Why? Is it considered rude? Or is it because they consider it sensitive?
I went for a short trip in June. It impacted me. Not much but a significant bit. I've never cosidered myself an emotional person. Don't know why it happened.
I hate violence.
I hate selfishness.
I hate manipulation.
I'm grateful for love.
I'm grateful for family.
I'm grateful for friends.
I'm grateful for the little things in life.
I'm greatful for life itself though it may not be great at times.
I'm not sure if it's because of this book that I'm currently reading now which made me think so much. Maybe, maybe not. It's thought-provoking anyway.
Oops. In case you think that I'm depressed; I am absolutely not. I'm happy with life presently and would make an effort to make it great. Because I strongly believe in this: You only live life once. How you decide to live it, it's entirely your choice. Happy or sad? Life still goes on. So, why choose the latter?
