Happy Deepavali and Selamat Hari Raya!
Today feels like a sunday. Seriously.
Watched "The Departed" last thursday at Vivocity GV Max. The cinema is huge and there's plenty of leg space. I was a little disappointed with the show perhaps of it's high ratings. High expectations + average performance = disappointment. Tony Leung's still the best! =) Not forgetting Andy Lau, of course.
Went to Mind Cafe again last friday. Think the people there should recognise me by now. Haha. Nothing much to blog about. Oh, did you guys know that the other name of gound nut / monkey nut is actually ... ... peanut! =D
Finally got the chance to stay at home for the weekends. Sat and Sun. Sat was a PH so there wasn't any lessons. Got to tidy and organise my stuff, read, write, study, research, watch anime and dvds, listen to my old CDs (didn't realise I bought so many..) and do stuff which I've been planning to do for a long long time.
However, cooping myself up in my house for 2 days made my head hurt like hell. Went out for a walk with my mum on sunday night. If not, sure MC the next day.
Monday mornings are the worst! Especially with a splitting headache. I love mornings most of the time. That's when the air's the freshest (er.. maybe not these few days with the PSI rising faster than the stocks).
Thought about getting an MC but there's something I gotta rush or the following days would be worse for me. So, no choice, went to work as usual. Morning was still fine. Afternoon was when I thought my brain was going to explode. Didn't eat much at lunch time. (Just realised something - my sentences are all pretty short. Hahaha!)
Supposed to meet S during lunch but she had something on so we had to meet after work instead. Was a little rush for me since I gotta meet Y after that. Luckily, he was late cuz of the traffic.
Went on a date with him. Sorry, no details. =P
SP called in the afternoon and asked if I wanted to join them @ Zouk. Since, she's been asking and I've not been going (heh heh.. sorry la..) so Y sent me there to meet them.
The crowd was actually older than I expected. Haha. Not many kids.
SP's friends' friends were like so drunk, they danced funny and people were laughing. -.-"
The best part of the night was when SP and I sat at the bar counter for whiskey on the rock (my fav drink at the moment besides wine of course) and just sat there. Plus, the bartender's kinda cute. Hahaha! I know what you are going to say, SP. Yes, yes. I admit, okay? Wahaha!!!
Oh. I once read a joke and it goes something like this:
Customer: Can you get me a glass of whiskey?
Bartender: Sure. On the rock?
Customer: No. No. On the table!
I thought it was pretty funny. Hahaha =D
Anyway, we left Zouk around 3am and SP came and stayed overnight at my house. I was afraid to go home alone cuz there's a molester in our neighbourhood. The police put up a notice at our lift lobby but it's gone today. I wonder if they've caught him yet.
Accompanied SP for her hair cut in the afternoon. Had lunch together at the coffeeshop near Xinmin. The carrot cake's still as good as ever. That's what I think. SP didn't finish hers. Caren, drooling yet? Haha.
Sigh! Can I take an MC and rest tomorrow?
